Our Head of Coconut Connectivity, Carlos Mango, doubles as our Chief Sustainability Officer. Carlos’s extensive experience in climbing and communicating with coconuts has given him a profound appreciation for nature and its preservation.
Under Carlos’s capable leadership, SuaveCell has achieved some impressive, if not entirely believable, environmental milestones and innovative data security measures:
- Zero Emission Underwater Data Centers: Our underwater data centers not only solve the problem of land space but also operate with zero carbon emissions. They are cooled naturally by the surrounding seawater and powered by waves and solar energy.
- Whale-Assisted Network Expansion: To minimize our environmental footprint, we’ve trained whales to help with the installation of underwater cables. This eco-friendly method has significantly reduced our reliance on fossil fuel-dependent machines.
- Seashell Recycling: In collaboration with our Chief Seashell Officer, Bart Merckx, we’ve developed a seashell recycling program that turns old seashells into network equipment.
- Whale-Assisted Data Monitoring: Our innovation isn’t just limited to network expansion. With a unique blend of nature and technology, we’ve discovered that our friendly whales are capable of detecting shifts in data streams! While this might sound too fantastical to believe, it’s true! Our Chief Whale Whisperer, Sophie Krill, has successfully trained our whales to recognize changes in customer data. This means, while our customers are enjoying a whale-spotting session courtesy of SuaveCell, we’re also ensuring that their data is secure and accounted for. We’ve transformed whale watching from a mere leisure activity into an additional layer of data protection, making it doubly rewarding!
